Sometimes I feel like giving up, I feel so discouraged and I think that life is too much, but than, if I lift my eyes up to Jesus, and think about everything that He had to endure, the beating, the mocking, abandoned by friends. But Jesus could not afford to make a mistake or to put one foot wrong. The cross happened only once! And for Him, fulfilling God’s plan was more important than anything else. And He didn’t give up, He completed the work. Cross it is not something easy to endure, but He loved us and He loved the Father so He willingly stepped forward to accept the assignment. He did it for us; He redeemed us for a purpose - to be His people. We don’t belong to us, but we are His and we are His joy. The great new is that whatever we endure for the cross or in Jesus Name – it is nothing compared to the joy that lies before us in the eternal presence of God!
