The way the Lord has touched me the most since I have come to RBI. I have always wanted to speak in tongues. I have pressed into the Lord many times to try speak tongues but I was never able to. On the 30th of August worship was coming to a close but I felt the desire to try to speak in tongues again. It was during the song “Let your fire fall.” I started to pray to God that I wanted to speak in tongues. So while praying I just started to focus all my attention on God.
I kept praying/singing “let your fire fall Lord, let your fire fall on me.” Then slowly I feeling of heat, of fire, came upon me. It started to feel like the inside of me was burning up. My hands began to shake, and the words that came out of my mouth were not English, at first it was a few short words then, came sentences, then it was like a stream of the heavenly language came pouring out of my mouth. I also believe that God was breaking me free from some things on that day. Since then I have been able to speak in tongues. Praise God…

When Karrie got up she told you she felt rested and ready to have her baby now, it was born at 7am the next morning 9 hours after that statement. I know the Pattons and believe God will use them mightily especially their new addition! Thank you for coming to the Tri! John Q. Also a special thanks to pastor Rodney Howard Browne!
Revival – Challenge and Change
Posted by: | CommentsSince 1988, Dr Rodney Howard-Browne have traveled extensively throughout the USA and elsewhere in the world. From small churches to large stadiums, the message of revival has resounded. His ministry has made friends and enemies. You have to really experience the touch of heaven personally to be able to understand what God is doing in the meetings.
An example of this is the Good News Mdantsane (pronounced – mmm dant sa knee) in South Africa. Crowds upwards of 50,000 gathered each night for five nights. There were many miracles of healing but more importantly, over 100,000 souls gave their lives to the Lord that week.

You cannot be in a meeting and try to figure it out from an intellectual standpoint. There have been many critics who have written articles, books and online critiques about Rodney Howard-Browne. Equally, there have been literally tens of thousands of people all over the world who have been profoundly touched and their lives radically altered for ever.
It’s easy to be a critic, but it’s another thing to lay down your life and make personal sacrifices to reach a lost and dying world for Jesus. To carry the gospel to the four corners of the earth. This is the vision of Revival Ministries International founder, Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne.
